How to Upload a Resume

Upload your resume to attach it to applications and enable AI-powered features.

Uploading Your Resume

  1. Go to Resumes in the sidebar
  2. Click Upload Resume
  3. Drag and drop your file, or click to browse
  4. Fill in the details:
    • Title - A name for this version (e.g., "Software Engineer 2025")
    • Job Category - Type of roles this resume targets
    • Description (optional) - Notes about this version

Resume Organization

Naming Conventions

Use descriptive titles like:

  • "Senior Engineer - Tech Focus"
  • "Product Manager - Startup Version"
  • "Full Stack - Remote Positions"

Job Categories

Categorize resumes by target role type:

  • Engineering
  • Product Management
  • Design
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Other

What Happens After Upload

Once uploaded, your resume:

  • Appears in your resume library
  • Can be attached to applications
  • Is available for AI analysis (if enabled)
  • Is stored in the cloud with reasonable safeguards

Privacy & Security

  • Your resume is stored with safeguards where supported
  • Access to your files is limited to your account
  • Delete anytime from the Resumes page
  • We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties except to provide the service or as required by law
