This Privacy Policy outlines how Oplinque collects, uses, and protects your personal information. We aim to follow generally accepted privacy practices where feasible.

We collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us when you register or use our Service. This includes:
Name, email address, and professional details (resumes, job applications) needed for the core function of the app.
Log data, device information, and activity metrics to improve system performance and security.
When you use our Oplinque Job Saver extension, it is designed to collect only the specific job posting content (Title, Company, Description, URL) that you explicitly choose to save. We check authentication status via secure cookies and do not intend to track your browsing history or collect data from other sites.
Temporary Storage: Extracted job data is stored in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) to pre-fill application forms and is configured to expire after 24 hours. Removal timing may vary by browser storage behavior. You can clear this data anytime through your browser's extension settings.
If you enable push notifications, we store your device's push subscription token (endpoint URL and encryption keys) to deliver reminders and status updates. This data is removed when you disable notifications or unsubscribe, subject to system timing.
If you enable 2FA, we store TOTP secrets and backup codes to verify your identity. This data is stored with encryption where supported and removed when you disable 2FA or delete your account, subject to system timing.
When you use the Oplinque Job Saver extension, we process job posting content you explicitly choose to save.
Job extraction data stored in the browser extension is intended to expire after 24 hours via a TTL mechanism.
Only data you explicitly save to your Oplinque account is retained under your account settings. You can delete saved applications at any time from your dashboard.
We process your data solely for specific and legitimate purposes:

The Oplinque browser extension is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
